New Goblins of Baltimore

New Goblins of Baltimore is the title of my first ever solo exhibition in 2023, as well as an apt description for the entire body of work preceding A Few Blocks From Here. Where A Few Blocks From Here dove deep into drawings of Baltimore itself and caricatures of human actors, New Goblins of Baltimore instead took a character-first approach, exploring the city through portraits of singular (and occasionally symbolic) anthropomorphic creatures. Though I have since had to bid them adieu, these characters taught me how to draw, and helped me come into my own a printmaker.
